"Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" Project
Chosen by builder TJB Homes, our firm designed the Swenson-Lee family's home in Minnetonka, Minnesota for ABC's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" 100th anniversary special that aired on Nov 27, 2007. Grateful for even being considered, we gladly donated our time and talents towards this extraordinary event.
For those of you who haven't seen the show, ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition selects a family in need and then finds a builder and hundreds of volunteers to tear down (if applicable) and build a new [dream] home in just a few days.
In August 2007, for the first time in the show's history, ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition came to Minnesota to provide a makeover for the Swenson-Lee family. Builder TJB Homes donated their talents and time to lead the endeavor and recruited a fantastic team of thousands of workers, subcontractors (including competitors), and volunteers from the community. DFP Planning & Design was asked to design the Swenson-Lee family's home and gladly accepted.
